Ballroom Dancing

ballroom dancing problems?

i have been ballroom dances for about 3 years. i am nervous to tell my friends that i ballroom dance because i think they will make fun of it, and think its weird for me to dance with other men and boys. how can i tell my friends about this? any kid/teen ballroom dancers out there!?

Movie about eccentric aunt in mansion with niece, boy who visits TITLE HELP!?

Many years ago I saw a film/movie on TV. I remember the plot very well but can’t remember the title. I am hoping someone here can perhaps recall it? The plot is as follows: About an older eccentric woman who live in a run down mansion along with(in the movie begining) her niece who is probably about 11(?) at the time of start of film. There is this young kid in the film a boy about 12? I would say that for some reason ends up at the request of the aunt visiting the mansion regularly to visit. I believe the aunt had been engaged and about to be married years before with the wedding reception set up at the mansion and everything but the groom had left her standing at the altar basically and the woman became eccentric. When the young boy comes on the scene he looks around the run down mansion grounds and finds the wedding reception set up(now run down, table chairs, etc) there is a scene with this. Also a scene where the aunt requests the boy to sketch a picture of her niece and a scene where she makes the kids dance ballroom.

If anyone can help with this it would be great! As rambling as the plot sounds I assure you it was an actual film/movie of some sort I saw. I would probably say anywhere to 10-15 years ago.Thanks

a movie where a guy teaches the bad kids how to ballroom dance for free i never saw the whole thing but i would like to finish seeing it.And i remember mention of a competition close to the end after that i draw a blank please help i wanna watch it tonight thanks
