Why is there not a ballroom dance station or ballroom dance music?

With the popularity it has obtained in the recent years, especially with the high ratings and success of the ABC show Dancing with the Stars, as a ballroom dance instructor myself, I can share with you my professional opinion, that this particular type of social dancing is very much in demand.
I’m more than certain that you would acquire a whole new group of listeners and fans.

You can find music suitable for ballroom on various stations. Jazz stations will often have music suitable for foxtrot, swing, and occasionally waltz. Latin stations will have music for many of the Latin dances. Classical stations sometimes have good waltz music.
