The shoes are all under $35
Anyone ever worn them?

Customer Service answers:

My wife and I both have several pairs of Henry G shoes. We bought them on Ebay because they were so cheap. They are incredibly comfortable and well made.

You can afford to get a couple of pairs for the price of one pair of some of the other competitor brands. They arrived about two weeks after we ordered and fit great.

They were so good my wife ended up ordering another three pairs after her first pair arrived. Don’t be scared by the price, they are a great shoes and most of the students our dance school are now ordering from them.

Helen asks…

First ballroom dance lesson tonight…what to wear? HELP!?

I bought ballroom dancing shoes already so I just need to know what I should wear. I called to ask and they told me just something casual and comfortable. I just don’t want to show up looking out of place. LOL I would appreciate all the help I can get!!!

FYI: I’m a 28 year old woman and will be going with my husband. =)

Customer Service answers:

Stick with something comfortable and something you can move in. Try a casual skirt, dress pants, or even nice jeans along with a nice top. If you go for a skirt, generally speaking pencil skirts aren’t any good; you can barely move in them without looking/feeling silly. If you try jeans, slightly stretchy denim or the denim-looking fabric (but not real denim) usually works just fine.

Don’t worry too much about hair and makeup. This is just a lesson, after all. Save really dressing up for a social dance. Think of how you’d dress/do hair and makeup for lunch at a reasonably nice restaurant. No sweats, but no formal dress. Make sure that whatever you wear you are comfortable in; you don’t want to be constantly tugging at the front of your shirt because you subconsciously think it’s too low cut.

If you’ve never worn your dance shoes before you may want to wear nylons or trouser socks so you don’t get blisters. Remember, you will be wearing them for a while and will be standing the whole time.

Have fun and I hope all goes well for you!
