About How To Ballroom Dance – Faq

Donald asks…
Do you know any good Ballroom dance schools in the south jersey area?
Ive been dancing since i was 4 and now im interested in ballroom. Im looking for a school that will teach kids and teens (I’m 13) how to dance different styles of ballroom. I’ve been looking hard for quite some time but can’t find what I’m looking for. I also wanted a school that does those kids ballroom competitions that they have where you compete in ballroom. If you know any good schools like this in the south jersey area that would be a great help!!!
Customer Service answers:
Have you tried usadance? Check out the “chapters” section for local ballroom dance studios in your state, and give a few a call. Even if there isn’t one listed nearby, call whoever’s closest. Often there are smaller studios that may not be well advertised which they can point you to.

Donna asks…
If I want someone to come and teach a party of people how to ballroom dance, how is that possible?
For my 17th Birthday I really want to have a party where my friends and I get to learn how to ballroom dance, but I don’t know how to set that up. What do I need to do? Is there a place that can do that for me in Colorado? It can be either at my house or at a studio.
Customer Service answers:
I’m not from Colorado but I am almost positive that you could call a dance studio or Google dance choreographers near you and they would do it for a price.

Susan asks…
How do I find a latin/ballroom dance partner in Saint Louis area or Ohio?
Looking for a latin/ballroom dance partner who is commited and is willing to work hard for competitions! In a saint louis area or even Ohio, since I will be relocating soon. I need a partner who can practice as much as possible and has set goals for winning.
Customer Service answers:
The best place to find a partner is group dance lessons or local dance events like competitions and socials. Once you are there, make yourself visible and keep your eyes open.
