How is it different from other formal dresses like a prom or bridesmaid dress?
A a ballgown is usually a dress which has a big volume in the skirt. So it's bigger than other dresses and had more volume overall. It's version nowadays is strapless; but the concept of the classic version is the same. It's skirt is very wide if you spin around and isn't that voluminous as a ballgown. I need to have a ballroom dance gown sewn for me. I have light skin. Any suggestions for designs or colors? Also, this is for smooth dancing (waltz, tango, foxtrot) so it needs to be long....thanks for all your help
