- What set of makeup should I use for my Dance Recital?
Well I'm taking Ballroom Dancing lessons at my school (Not optional, I have to do it or my Music grade goes low. :P) and the final performance is coming in April. So, what colors of makeup should I use for dancing? And I want it to match my dress; I'm wearing a black one with a white string bow belt.
A Wear a lot of makeup because the stage light will wash you out if you don't. I'm a competitive dancer and I wear foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara, powder, etc. when I dance competitively. Since it is for your school you should probably wear a little less makeup then what I said above. You should do a glittery eye with black gel eyeliner on the top. For your lips you should make them dramatic with red lip stick. It will go great with the black and white costume.

i have my first hs ballroom competition tomorrow. i have never done anything like this before. a friend convinced me to join. the dance that i am going to be doing tomorrow is the salsa dance from my team. what exactly should i be doing with my hair and makeup that would be appropriate for this situation?
A You should put your hair in a bun at the back or at the top with some fancy clips and maybe a big colourful flower. Your make up should be glittery eyes, mascara and red lipstick. Wear some lovely earings also. Hope this helps. x
